I am picked to give out Audrey Niffenegger’s ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’, for World Book Night on the 23rd of April. The Time Traveler’s Wife is one of my favourite book, and definitely one that I can say for certain I love it, out of the list of World book night list of books for selection. This is my first time participating in the World Book Night giveaway and I am happy to be selected.
Nearer to the time I will give away 2 copies to my international readers and I hope you will join me in this celebration of reading this Spring.
I am so happy that I know someone else who is going to give away books for World Book Night. It’ll be fun that day to know that so many others are doing the same thing as us

I applied for Because of Winn-Dixie, and I’m so surrounded by lovely children, but I think you’re choice of The Time Traveler’s Wife is a great one to give away, too! There were so many good books on their list!! I’d have liked to given away A Prayer for Owen Meaney, as well. Won’t this be fun? It’s my first time, too. xo

It’s interesting that they didn’t tell you which book you are giving away. Helen is having the same issue so I suppose it’s the USA side of things which they would disclose the titles a little later perhaps. It’s amazing to know it’s the first for so many people! xoxo

I think that’s the reason I picked this book. I wouldn’t want to scare my recepients off with more sophisticated literary titles! I’ll try to keep everyone update.

Did they say what title you are about to distribute? Congratulations Stu. It’s always a great feeling to be able to give out books. I do it all the time on my own budget, but it’s a joy to do it in a big way! All the best.
