Reflection

Features

I have been doing some housekeeping on my blog and decided to create a space for blog posts other than books reviews. see: https://bibliojunkie.wordpress.com/features/ In the process I have updated some old posts and it shows up as a new post on the Google reader.

I look back and feel that I wrote more raw and honest posts in the early years when no one was actually reading them. Over time I have written more reviews than putting any thoughts about what I feel about reading and life in general. Perhaps I was unhappy then and in recent years I am happier but still it is not an excuse not to think of ways to lighten up this blog.

I like Booking through Thursday meme and thought that is a way to generate some thought provoking discussion. If I can do a few posts like that in the future, instead of run of the mill book review, that will be great.

Thanks for being here.

  1. Your thoughts, your book reviews, have neither bored nor disappointed me. Keep doing what you do, friend.

Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking. - Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)
